Email security monitoring

Email security monitoring for SPF, DMARC, and common DKIM records.

Email authentication is part of domain health. Upwhisper keeps SPF, DMARC, and common DKIM records visible next to DNS, SSL, registration, and uptime signals.

Real dashboard signal

A quieter way to keep mail posture visible.

Upwhisper does not pretend DKIM discovery is magic. It checks common selectors and clearly treats unknown data differently from confirmed failure.

What it checks

  • SPF TXT records on the root domain.
  • DMARC TXT records at the standard _dmarc hostname.
  • DKIM records for a set of common provider selectors.
  • Confirmed changes to email-security records between checks.

How alerts work

  • Email-security changes are compared between confirmed results.
  • Missing SPF and DMARC affect the risk score as smaller deductions than outage or ownership risks.
  • DKIM is best-effort because selectors cannot be discovered universally from public DNS.

Questions buyers ask before trusting a monitor.

Does upwhisper discover every possible DKIM selector?

No. DKIM selectors are not globally discoverable, so Upwhisper checks a practical set of common selectors used by major providers.

Are SPF and DMARC scored like outages?

No. Missing SPF or DMARC affects the risk score, but the deductions are intentionally smaller than DNS, SSL, or registration failures.
