Domain expiry monitoring
Domain expiry monitoring for the registration you cannot afford to lose.
A renewed SSL certificate does not protect you from losing the domain itself. Upwhisper checks registration health separately so domain ownership risk is visible early.
Real dashboard signal
SSL and registration are different risks.
Upwhisper reports certificate expiry and domain registration expiry independently, because fixing one does not fix the other.

What it checks
- Domain registration expiry when registry data is available.
- Whether the domain registration appears expired or active.
- Registrar changes between confirmed registration lookups.
- Upcoming registration renewals as a separate risk from certificate renewal.
How alerts work
- Registration expiry warnings use the enabled threshold settings.
- A confirmed expired registration opens one incident until the domain becomes active again.
- Registrar changes are one-shot alerts based on confirmed previous and current registrar values.
Questions buyers ask before trusting a monitor.
Can upwhisper always see domain registration expiry?
No. Registration data depends on RDAP/WHOIS availability and registry policy. Unknown lookup data is treated as unknown, not as a confirmed problem.
Why track registrar changes?
A registrar change can be harmless, but if nobody expected it, it is one of the clearest signals that a domain needs immediate attention.
